Claudia Hill-Sparks is a gifted and in-demand dialect, voice and speech coach with over twenty-five years of experience. She has worked in film, regional theater and on and off Broadway coaching an elite list of internationally known actors. Actors love working with Claudia, not only for the professional skills she brings to each project, but also for her generous and supportive spirit. Claudia has been on the faculty of Boston University's School for the Arts BFA Actor Training Program and the Old Globe/University of San Diego MFA Professional Actor Training Program. She was the Resident Voice and Dialect Coach at the Tony Award Winning Old Globe Theatre for 8 years, coaching over 80 productions. She has worked at the Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park and on Broadway. For PBS, she coached Tony Award Winning actor Richard Easton in his acclaimed portrayal of Ben Franklin. She has coached several national touring companies and worked at the most respected regional theaters throughout the country. Her off-Broadway credits include the Manhattan Theatre Club, Theatre for a New Audience, The Epic Theatre Company, Fellowship for the Performing Arts and The Edge Theatre Company. Her regional theatre credits include The Old Globe Theatre, San Diego Repertory Theatre, The Long Wharf Theatre, Hartford Stage Company, Barrington Stage Company, The Huntington Theatre Company, North Shore Music Theater, American Players Theatre, Chautauqua Theater Company and several summers as Voice and Text Coach for the Old Globe Theatre Shakespeare Summer Repertory.
Most recently, she coached Anastasia on Broadway.
She has also worked as a coach for the Museum of Science and Industry in Boston and at Legoland in California. She has helped many private clients to master a range of skills from accent reduction to public speaking.
