"I was lucky enough to have Claudia as my dialect and voice professor while in grad school at the University of San Diego. She, of course, has a wealth of knowledge on the subject of dialects as well as a boat-load of methods you can use to find your way into a specific sound, but I found her best attribute as a coach was her ability to work with us as actors and people. She has, by nature, a very soothing and uplifting presence that helps eliminate a certain stress and anxiety that can creep in when doing such specific and intense work as dialect training. She maintains that 'sense of play' so vital when experimenting with new sounds - and it made me unafraid of sounding weird or wrong. I just got on with learning the dialect, and had a great time with a friend in the process."
